Panatrack’s Commitment to Dynamics GP

Panatrack is dedicated to ensuring that our PanatrackerGP inventory solutions align with Microsoft’s Modern Lifecycle 2028 and Beyond, helping you maximize your Dynamics GP investment. We will continue to provide excellent support for the PanatrackerGP solutions now and the indeterminant future.

We continue to actively develop the PanatrackerGP solution on the Android platform. Improvements and enhancements are added based on customer requests and recommendations. We continue to migrate some of the more uncommonly used Windows Mobile features to the Android platform.

Although we continue to retain and add to our diverse customer base, we periodically have customers that have decided to transition to a new ERP system. Often, we are asked about offerings we have available for them to transition for support of their inventory or asset tracking. In response, we have introduced the Panatrack Item Tracking Platform to our portfolio. In contrast to PanatrackerGP, this solution is a completely independent tracking solution. It is not an extension for mobile devices that create the corresponding inventory transactions in your ERP as the single inventory database. Therefore, the solution isn’t always a fit for our transitioning customers. Here are the three key use cases for this platform:

Asset Tracking

The asset tracking functionality includes features including place-in-service, check out management, deployment, and item maintenance. It is ideal for any industry or organization that has assets or items owned by the organization offering a flexible and robust tracking solution option. This platform often replaces spreadsheets or adds the individual item tracking features for assets not supported within a financial fixed asset ERP module. Panatrack offers solutions such as Tool & Equipment Tracking, I.T. Asset and Inventory Management, and Operational and Facility Asset Management.

Supply, Parts, and Project/Job Inventory

This platform wasn’t designed for the typical distribution and manufacturing organizations with extensive inventory management requirements. The target audience includes those with internal inventory management such as inter-departmental supplies, parts used for maintenance activities, hub and spoke inventory management, and managing inventory specifically used for projects and jobs. The solution often can meet untraditional inventory tracking needs where we have coined the expression ‘bring us your weird’.

Customer-Owned Items

This supports the ability to manage inventory or assets under contract to manage under your organization’s custody. These items, which are not owned by your organization and are therefore not part of inventory valuation, are often challenging to manage within a traditional ERP. Common reporting requirements include tracking storage time in your warehouse, or the number of units shipped or delivered. Key features include customer portals, movable containers, and shipping and delivery management.

This platform is a cloud-based solution offered on an annual subscription. There are several integration opportunities available to implement with the solution.
